Making Time For One Another

Making Time For One Another

Just recently I lost my only sister to a long battle with lung disease and it has brought to light the shortness of life. The bible say's that "Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away." James 4:14...NASB

That pretty much say's it all in that we are here for only a brief matter of time. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, at any time we could be called home. So I've said all that to say this today, that even though our lives are fast paced and we all seem to be running a hundred miles per hour, let each of us make the time to share some time with one another.

I encourage you today to set aside a moment to call that loved one or friend just to say "I love you". Our words are the most powerful force we can generate, therefore it is imperative to speak words of blessing to one another and over one another's life. Send someone a card or an e-mail, perhaps you're connected on a social network such as Facebook or Twitter, if so write on their wall something encouraging and uplifting.

Why?

These simple gestures shows others that they are important to us. Jesus said, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another." John 10:34...NASB

People cannot benefit from love we don't give, therefore make time for one another, let them know what they mean to you and give them love in some form or fashion. For truly life is too short not to make time for the ones we love the most.

Be blessed and in all you're getting give God the glory!
